Tráfico en Finlandia / Trafic in Finland

El tráfico en Finlandia es muy similar al de España, aunque tiene unas cuantas diferencias.
Por ejemplo; cuando el semáforo está en rojo y va a pasar al verde primero hace una pequeña pausa de unos cuantos segundos en el color naranja para dar tiempo a quitar el freno de mano, impidiendo tardar más ralentizando a los otros conductores.
Algo que también llama mucho la atención es que aquí en Finlandia siempre puedes encontrar unos pequeños postes fluorescentes a los extremos de las carreteras para indicarte el nivel de nieve que se encuentra en los extremos o incluso en la carretera.
Cuando hay un gran nivel de nieve en la carretera hacen pasar un camión quitanieves para apartar la nieve del asfalto, permitiendo a los coches circular. Pero al haber grandes extensiones de carretera por todo el país solo pueden dejar libre un camino estrecho más algunos huecos específicos para autobuses. Y así cuando dos coches de encuentran de frente uno de ellos debe colocarse en el espacio dedicado a la parada de autobuses para dejar pasar al otro.

Traffic in Finland is very similar to that in Spain, although it has a few differences.

Por fin ver tierra / Finally see land

Después de tanto tiempo viendo solamente nieve o hielo mirases donde mirases cuando ves tierra sientes una felicidad impresionante. O al menos así fue en mi caso. Era un día normal y corriente, por la mañana, a eso de las 7:15 de la mañana estaba saliendo de casa para dirigirme a la parada de autobús, a esperar al que me llevaría al instituto, cuando al abrir la puerta de casa ví pequeñas porciones de tierra donde la nieve se había derretido. El tiempo en Finlandia / The weather in Finland

Aunque mucha gente dice que en Finlandia es poco común ver el sol muy a menudo, en parte algo incierto. Es verdad que no se ve tantas veces como en otras partes del mundo como España, Francia, Italia... Pero se ve con algo de frecuencia. Es cierto que cuando te acostumbras a pasar cierto tiempo sin ver el sol puede ser algo raro e incluso molesto estar unos cuantos días con tanta luz y tan cálida. Hesburger

Hesburguer es un restaurante de comida rápida similar al McDonald's y al Burguer King. Se caracteriza por no encontrarse en todos los países. Mi familia estuvo durante dos días aquí en Finlandia, les acompañé a comer a Hesburger pues en España no hay. De echo el Hesburger más cercano desde mi casa allí en España está en Alemania, es de locos.
